The moderator queue
Where questions go when the sources are not enough, and how they come back as better sources.
Why a queue#
A confident wrong answer costs a community more than a slow right one. Questions about prices, partnerships, private matters or anything your sources do not cover are exactly the ones a person should answer. The queue collects them with the reason they were sent.
Closing the loop#
- Answer writes a moderator reply into the log.
- Answer + add to sources also adds the question and your answer to a “Moderator answers” document, so the next member gets it from the assistant.
Over time the queue shrinks in the places your community actually asks about. The comparison on the home page shows the same effect on a sample day.
