Quick start
From nothing to a working help desk in about a minute, without an account.
Five steps#
- Open the assistant setup and pick Member FAQ + event guide to try the sample, or Your own sources to paste your FAQ.
- Choose how strict the assistant is. Balanced is a good start.
- Press Open the assistant and ask a question in the box on the right, or press Play sample day to replay a day of sample questions.
- Click any message to see which passages matched and why. Answer anything in the moderator queue, and add good answers to your sources.
- Export the log as JSON or CSV, then draft the day's recap in the studio.
Bringing your own documents#
Paste text or upload plain text files (.txt, .md, .csv). Headings on their own line, like # Weekly call, become sections, which makes sources easier to read in answers. Up to 40 documents and 400,000 characters in total are kept in your browser.
Nothing you paste is uploaded. The only exception is the optional AI wording described in The AI layer, which sends the few passages that matched one question.
